The Australasian Parliamentary Educators are professional educators
from Australian, New Zealand and Pacific parliaments, as well as
other civics organisations who are committed to supporting citizens’
understanding of parliamentary processes, government and democracy.

Australasian Parliamentary Educators aim to engage citizens with the history, role and functions of their parliaments. Through active learning programs, resources and community engagement, they support teachers, students and the general public in teaching and learning about civics and citizenship.

Australasian Parliamentary Educators meet annually to share experiences, and build their capability, knowledge and skills in delivering parliamentary education.

The 2023 conference was held in Perth, Western Australia: 21-23 November.Â
